Creating
Creating
Now you've passed the first stage of applications - hopefully, otherwise you wouldn't be reading this - you can now roleplay. But wait! What if there is not roleplay you want to join, and you instead want to create your own? Fear not, it is simple. All you have to do is create a new topic with the name of the roleplay. In that topic, you should have a post (or more, if you need) that list the following:
- The roleplay rules
- A character creation form (if applicable)
- The characters in the roleplay (if applicable)
You may create one topic for character creation and multiple other topics for roleplay areas. However, please see the important note at the bottom.
Joining
If you see the roleplay you want to join, brilliant! However, before stepping right into it, you should first consider:
- What are the rules of the roleplay?
- What do they ask for in the character creation form (if there is one)?
Characters from one roleplay cannot enter another roleplay, unless a new character application is made.
One of the most important things to remember is:
- When you create a new roleplay topic (which may be needed if you need a new location or the old one is getting very cluttered) it MUST have the name of the roleplay's abbreviations in brackets at the start of the topic title.
For example, if the roleplay name is "Shadows of the Moonlight" the new topic would be "[SOTM] Domino City Docks" or similar.
