You are now all Beginners!

Haha people! Everyone has been demoted to Red Eyes hope. From here on out, you will have to work your behinds off to get through the ranks. We still haven't settled on how it will be done. But I think we are leaning towards an experience system.
I've sent all your dorm rooms to the Old Dorm Section. If you want you're old dorm, I'll move it for ya.
Also we have removed testers and dormless. Anyone who has at least one post will automatically be placed in the Red-Eyes Dorm.

I think we'll be keeping teachers (rename them as mentors) as people who will post lessons or maybe not.

No new people may be registered at this time because we are working on the site.
This is the first of many things we will do to create a very unique system. More news to come.

Haha, Flying Pig (Marr!) made it sound a bit brutal, but let me explain the reasoning behind this, lol.

Essentially, by testing you all, we've found out what kind of skill levels to expect from those at different ranks within the Academy. This has allowed us to judge what kind of difficulty to set the challenge bars to in terms of moving up forms for this restructuring. By putting everyone back at Red-Eyes, we've established the idea of moving up, rather than having it so that everyone's oddly distributed. For instance, while you may have been a Blue-Eyes Judgement, there is no guarantee that the previous skill level you had then will fit into that dorm (ie, you may be better or rustier xD) and to establish a fairness and heightened competitive spirit. There's not much more to aim for after Exodia, anyway.

Speaking of Exodia, if you have any ideas for how to keep the next iteration of the site interesting in preparation for reaching that, do let us know.

ha ha, learn to enjoy the colors of red. besides, better to get to exodia from red eyes than if u started in exodia and hardly had to work. this just makes me think of my red eyes dorm rant/confidence booster/whatever u want to call it lol.

But I did have to work to get into Exodia lol. It's not like I just woke up and decided to get good at Yugioh. I've been playing this game since it came to North America.

Well being able to beat a bunch of people will get you there faster. We're still getting the details sorted out. If you have any impute Acacia join the convo - you know where.

I can't wait to start working to the top.

i guess if u started playing that long ago, u would get pretty good. i only started a few months ago.
