    Dragunities Empty Dragunities

Post by Marrillian Fri Mar 08, 2013 3:52 am

As I move on to Infernities as Flying Pig, I will give you my Dragunity Decklist a gift.
    Spoiler:

    Monsters:
    Blue-Eyes White Dragon x3
    Battle Fader x2
    CardCar D
    Dragunity Arma Leyvaten
    Dragunity Dux x3
    Dragunity Phalanx x2
    Lightpulsar Dragon
    Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon
    Stardust Xiaolong
The White Stone of Legend x3
    Tragoedia x2
    White-Horned Dragon

    Spells:
    Cards of Consonance x2
    Dark Hole
    Double Summon
    Dragon Ravine x3
    Dragon's Mirror
    Heavy Storm
    Monster Reborn
    Mystical Space Typhoon
    Pot of Avarice
    Terraforming
    Trade-In x2

    Traps:
    Bottomless Trap Hole x2
    Dimensional Prison
    Mirror Force

    Side:
    Cardcar D
    Dragunity Legionnaire
    Gorz the Emissary of Darkness
    Cards of Consonance
    Mystical Space Typhoon
    Super Polymerization
    Terraforming
    Dimensional Prison
    DNA Surgery
    Light of Intervention
    Mirror Force
    Starlight Road
    Ultimate Offering
    Dragon Knight Draco-Equiste
    Ancient Fairy Dragon

    Extra:
    Five-Headed Dragon
    Black Rose Dragon
    Dragunity Knight - Vajrayana x3
    Formula Synchron
    Red Dragon Archfiend
    Scrap Dragon
    Shooting Star Dragon
    Stardust Dragon x2
    T.G. Hyper Librarian
    Thought Ruler Archfiend
    Trident Dragion
    Superdreadnought Rail Cannon Gustan Max

I was wondering if I should remove cardcar D, and also the entire Shooting star dragon line which includes formula Synchron and Stardust Xialong. Although this deck has potential for first turn Shooting star (with double summon I have done it) I think it just slows it down. Any thoughts, and replacements for those cards? Also I think the side needs to be better.

I'd take out the entire Blue-Eyes line-up and the Double Summon. They really slow down the deck. While the Blue-Eyes line-up does provide some speed provided you get them, but draw them without each other is painstakingly awful. And top decking into Blue-Eyes sucks.

I have never encountered that problem. I have three ways I get rid of blue eyes. Trade-In, Dragon's Ravine, and Lightpulsar. They are excellent filler monsters because of their multiple uses. Plus they are all material for Dragon's Mirror and if I have Red-Eyes, they are 3000 attack power.

I feel like you're focusing too much on raw power than what the Dragunities are actually capable of. Your Blue-Eyes line-up makes it so that you have less room for your actual Dragunity combos and ways to stop your opponent. I'd suggest taking out the Blue-Eyes stuff and put in 1-2 Legionnares and an Aklys for extra search possibilities and popping power. Seeing as Dux is your only way to utilize the Dragon Ravine properly, once you run out you/they counter him you have essentially a useless field card.

Personally, I believe Forbidden Lance and Mytlsetainn aremust-haves for Dragunities. Because Dux is the big player in the deck he will always be one of the first targets to be taken out with traps/spells before you can explode. If your opponent does not try to stop Dux, they are probably going to hit you harder and go for your Vajrayana. Forbidden Lance not only stops your Dux from getting countered, but also makes them waste a valuable trap.

In cases where your Dux is Effect Veiler'd, Mysletainn will fix this for you. Depending on your field (If you had a Dragunity on the field previous before summoning Dux) and they Veiler your Dux on the turn you summon him, you can send the other Dragunity to the Grave to summon Mystletainn and then proceed to finish the previous combo by grabbing Phalanx (I've done this play many many times, it happens more often than one would think.)

https://i.imgur.com/8fVdKxa.png This is my Dragunity build that I run online and offline. It does quite consistent and has been able to fight off the current meta at the moment. Feel free to take any ideas from it or continue with the way you have yours. Your build is interesting as it focuses less on the Dragunity side and seems to have it as more of an engine while the rest of your deck is more about raw dragon power.

I don't know, I just like how mine run; there are so many combos, I have barely been totally stopped, I usually can pull 2-3 major plays per turn and those out last resistance for the most part. I'll build yours and see how it runs. Then pull from goodstuff I see in yours.

For my deck, I was wondering about taking out Formula Synchron and Shooting Star Dragon. If I do I need 1 replacement, the other being Ancient Fairy Dragon.
